This world is according to the backstory a world from thousands of years in the past, which was subsequently destroyed by the progenitors of the dark fortress and dark stars. There is a dedicated minecraft server for this world where gameplay involves driving around in machines shooting at each other. Basically a warzone server. In the server the darkstars have not yet arrived and all the various factions are involved in a bunch of civil wars.
Fast forward to the current timescale of the main server, and the Alpha World has been destroyed and turned into an asteroid belt.
